Both Suzanne Sowinski and Richard Sullivan share the same ideal about the practice of architecture.
The firm philosophy includes continuation of education and training from a learning stand point, a teaching stand point and a community service stand point.
They feel that education should be a part of who and what the firm should be. The firm fosters and encourages education for all.
Suzanne is on the faculty of the Sustainable Design Graduate Program at the Boston Architectural College where she teaches several courses including Sustainable Design as Way of Thinking, Sustainable Design in Practice and a History of Sustainable Building.
Richard also teaches the same Sustainable Master’s Program, and he serves on the Sussex Community College Board. He chairs the college’s Finance and Facility committee and has led the college’s efforts to green the campus through a variety of initiatives, including alternative energy, enhanced energy performance mandates, and LEED certification of the campus facilities. |
