Ribbon Cutting at SEPTA’s Tasker-Morris Station

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA

OWNER: Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA)

SEPTA held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Tasker-Morris Station’s Accessibility Improvements Project on Friday, October 24, 2025! Located on the B line in South Philadelphia, the station upgrades included two new elevators providing an accessible route between street and platform levels as well as a relocated stair at the Northeast corner of Broad and Morris Street that incorporates a historic cast iron stair entry. SSA would like to congratulate SEPTA on this achievement, and we are proud to have had the opportunity to be a part of the JMT lead project team, supporting the project with the architectural design of the station.
